Jewelry For The Home

CR Currin creates jewelry for the home; every piece is like a diamond in the rough. By that, I mean in a world of cookie cutter furniture design it is refreshing to finally find a unique and well crafted product.

Crawford & Rebecca Currin are the brains and talent behind their company which started out in the furniture business providing other manufacturers with custom finishes and woodworking details. Having for so many years wondered why the customer was not allowed to take an already existing piece of furniture and embellish or alter the style to fit a particular application,
the Currins stepped out of the standard furniture BOX and created CR Currin. The finishes, colors, and textures of the special glass details are exquisite. The use of leafing and fabrics placed behind glass are like nothing I have even seen.

The CR Currin factory rarely uses the word " no" when it comes to customizing one of their pieces or a new idea. If you have the imagination to develop your own design and it can be manufactured without compromise, CR Currin will make your dreams come true.

CR Currin is located in Archdale NC and the factory is committed to being a responsible manufacture. All of the material and methods used in the factory do not have a negative impact on the environment. The wood used is Maple and is harvested from managed forests. CR Currin supports the Sustainable Forest Initiative of the National Hardwood Lumber Association. All of the finishes are created with low VOC coatings and the factory uses no materials considered photochemically reactive (contributes to smog). The factory also sends leftover chemicals to a fuel blending program where it is used to fire kilns at cement plants and the ash is then blended into the cement itself. One would say that CR Currin is produced by responsible stewards of planet EARTH. In addition to the craftsmanship and style, one of the best features of this furniture is that is MADE IN THE USA!

Join the LMS staff on Tuesday July 7th @ 1:00 pm for lunch and the chance to meet Crawford Currin to learn more of the history behind the product. LMS has samples of the furniture on the floor so you can experience the beauty and craftsmanship first hand. Please RSVP by July 1st.

We look forward to seeing you at our JEWELRY PARTY!

June Design Divas

Our Design Divas for June are........ Inhabit Design!

After meeting and working together for a large design firm Michelle DiMauro (seated) & Heather Soto decided to start their design partnership. In 2007 longing to have more creative control the duo formed Inhabit Design, a cutting edge interior design studio located in Las Vegas.

Michelle has lived in Las Vegas for the last 16 years. Originally from Southern California Michelle has always had the design bug, starting early by designing her bedroom. As Michelle has said,"my taste and style has been refined over the years." And after working for several high end residential and commercial design firms she has developed strong design principles and a firm foundation for where she wants to be as a designer. Michelle is currently studying for the NCIDQ exam which will allow her to follow her design dreams with even more knowledge.

Heather is a native to Las Vegas. After graduating from design school in Bellview Washington with a degree in Design and Fine Arts, Heather worked for a large firm. Upon returning to Las Vegas she worked on large scale commercial and high end estate projects. Heather also knew early in life that "design was her dream" and started sketching at a young age. Heather has also honed her skills in sustainable design and is currently working toward becoming Leed certified, and has hopes later of designing her own furniture line.

Both Michelle & Heather are members of ASID. The team is aways furthering their design knowledge by attending design seminars, classes, and are big supporters of Networking.

Their design style is flexible allowing this design duo to cater to their clients needs and taste. Design is satisfying for the girls from Inhabit when the client is happy. Planning to stay as a team Michelle & Heather have future plans of opening a satellite office in Chicago while keeping their Las Vegas office. Windy City LOOK OUT!

As individual designers Michelle & Heather are fabulous. As a design team the girls ROCK! Frequent visitors to the showroom the girls are always fun, professional and easy to work with.We LOVE INHABIT! All of us here at LMS truly appreciate both of you and your support of the showroom.
